It gives me great pleasure to announce that Mrs. Zaslow has
been appointed by the School Board of Broward County as our new Assistant Principal. I have the greatest confidence that
Mrs. Zaslow is going to do a great job.

Valentine's Day was a great day at Hollywood Hills Elementary School.  Every student, teacher, and staff member took a break from test preparation and participated in the school's fourth annual "Walk for Wellness." Thank you to Mrs. O'Sheehan for serving as the chairperson of this worthwhile and wonderful event. Over 800 students, teachers, and family members showed that they love to be healthy. Many thanks to the wonderful PTA volunteers who made this event a huge success. A big thank you goes out to the City of Hollywood for providing a bottle of water for every student who participated. Also, a big thank you to the O'Sheehan family for donating 800 popsicles for our students to enjoy when they completed the walk.

The last day of FCAT Camp will be on Wednesday, March 3. We are confident that our fourth grade students performed well on the Florida Writes section of the FCAT and are looking forward to getting the results.  Please make sure that your child gets plenty
of rest and good nutrition during our vigorous FCAT testing time.

This online school payment solution is currently provided by Broward County Schools as an additional payment option and as a convenience for parents and school staff. The School District has collaborated with the owners of Spelling City and have entered our spelling words into their website.  Not only are the spelling lists on the site, but students can test themselves, and/or play the online game with the spelling words for that week.  Best of all, it's free.
